Bullhouse Brewing Company
Bullhouse Brewing Company is a one man love letter to the art of brewing beer. That man is William. Since 2016 he has been single-handedly brewing and distributing his beers out of the old bull house on his parents farm in Newtownards. At the start of 2016 he approached me with the idea that we could collaborate on some great labels to really celebrate his growing range of bottled and canned beers. I'm proud to be part of something that William is so passionate about, and the tasting sessions are a bit of a billy bonus too!
The labels we've collaborated on so far are - Small Axe, The Notorious P.I.G, and KOKO. More details about stockists and William's love of beer can be found at BULLHOUSEBEER.CO.UK
Obviously for our first Bullhouse collaboration we had to have a bull on the label! The background pattern is an abstract of an aerial photograph of the farm and the fields around it where the brewery is.
This is a limited edition brew and so we wanted to have a different style of label. Because it is a maple bacon coffee porter, it had to be a truckstop sign, as it sounds like an american truckstop breakfast in a can!
We had a lot of fun coming up with a tiki-style version of the bull for this one
look great and taste great!
